Vacation

This past week, we went on vacation to Panama City Beach. Mommy, Daddy, Jordan, Trevor, Nana, Auntie and her boyfriend, Lucas.

Auntie and Trevor before dinner on Sunday night:

We discovered that Trevor LOVES the ocean. We would sit him out on the balcony in this travel swing (a genius invention, by the way) and he would listen to the sound of the ocean and be perfectly content:
We didn't want Trevor to get too much sun, and obviously, Daddy wasn't interested in working on his tan, so this tent worked well for one day (it was kind of flimsy and blew over and was out of commission the rest of the week).
Lucas bought Jordan some water guns. I decided I could live with water guns, but he knows he won't be taking Jordan hunting.

Jordan was quite the putt-putt golfer. He even got a hole in one!

Auntie and Trevor again:
Lucas feeding Trevor: We went to the outlet malls in Destin and they had a really cool playground with a pirate ship:

Much to mommy and auntie's dismay, Jordan has decided he is scared of the water. It got worse every day. He wouldn't even go in without someone carrying him and you had to have BOTH hands on him. Mommy and Auntie were both fish when they were little and were swimming on their own at this age, so I'm not really sure what to do about this fear. Below, is a huge accomplishment. On the last day, I got Jordan to sit on the steps by himself and play with is boat. I cannot even describe the amount of coaxing this took.

Trevor and Nana. Isn't Trevor hansome in his little outfit?

I know this picture seems random, but it shows how easily entertained kids can be in the midst of the all the crap we buy them. This mound of grass Jordan is standing on provided at least an hour of entertainment. He and auntie ran up and down it (along with 10 or 15 other kids) until Auntie just couldn't run anymore:
