A week of updates

As I predicted, I haven't been very good at updating this. Here are some highlights from the past week and a half:

Jordan's Aunt was famous for saying "My do it myself" when she was his age. He has inherited her stubborness (of course, he didn't get any of it from his mother or his nana) and insists on doing everything himself. So, here he is brushing his teeth after rejecting the help of both Mommy and Daddy

Any of you who know Jordan know that he has an obsession with music - beyond the normal two year's olds love of noise and movement. His latest form of that obsession is with musical instruments. He likes all kinds, but especially guitars. He is particularly adept at picking out guitars in songs on the radio or on CDs/Daddy's ipod and insisting that we play them over and over again. We bought him a guitar this weekend at Cracker Barrell and he literally gets out of bed asking for it.

This picture is from church. No specific reason, I just thought it was cute. He can't pass up a water fountain. As you can imagine, the result was "I wet Mommy."

We went to the fire prevention parade. Jordan LOVES fire trucks and he know that his Uncle Neal is a fireman, so every truck he sees is "Neal's fire truck." As you can see, I couldn't get him to pose with Sparky, the firedog, and I couldn't get him to look at me while wearing his favorite new hat.
