In case you don't live near us, here's what it looks like outside our house right now. Luckily, we still have power. Many people here in Lexington, and even more in Louisville and the western part of the state don't. I have friends in Louisville who have moved their families to hotels. I can't imagine what it would be like to lose your power this time of the year . . especially if you were one of the thousands of people who don't have anywhere to go and can't afford a hotel.
This is in our front yard.

This is also in the front yard and near the neighbor's house. I was so scared some of the limbs were going to fall in our bedroom window or onto the neighbor's house.

Clearly, there was no playing on this in our backyard today.

This is also in our backyard.
